U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Angel Santana, a transmissions systems operator with 2nd Combat Readiness Regiment, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, and a native of Moreno Valley, California, poses for a portrait on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Nov. 21, 2024. Santana was selected as Warrior of the Week for his ability to seamlessly handle a multitude of tasks as the publications noncommissioned officer, demonstrating his outstanding work ethic and professionalism. Outside of work, Santana also volunteers his time in the local area, strengthening community relations. When asked why he strives to go above the standard, Santana replied, “I have this habit of just wanting to do my best, wanting to be above my peers, and I think that is what keeps me going.” Each week, 2nd MLG recognizes one outstanding Marine or Sailor that goes above and beyond in their duties and embodies the qualities of an outstanding service member.
