U.S. Army Gen. Bryan Fenton, commander of U.S. Special Operations Command met with Lt. Gen. Steven W. Gilland, Superintendent, West Point - The U.S. Military Academy, during his visit to the Academy on Nov. 21, 2024. During Fenton’s visit, he toured the Center for Enhanced Performance, and learned more about West Point WERX and the Robotics Research Center. USMA cadets briefed SOCOM Ignite sponsored problems and the future leaders’ participation in developing solutions vetted by active special operations forces for use on the battlefield.
