241030-N-HT008-1111 PHILIPPINE SEA (Oct. 30, 2024) Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Dino Rauf, from Baghdad, Iraq, directs an MH-60S helicopter, from the Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron twelve “Golden Falcons”, to land on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Higgins (DDG 76) during flight operations in the Philippine Sea, Oct. 30. Higgins is forward-deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
