    Brig. Gen John Cogbill, the Deputy Commanding General of the XVIII Airborne Corps, and Mr. Ceo Bauer, 101 year old World War II veteran, exchange a book at the Lorraine American Cemetery before the memorial ceremony, Saint-Avold, France, November 24, 2024.

    Soldiers from the XVIII Airborne Corps traveled to Saint-Avold, France to commemorate the 80th anniversary of its liberation as representatives of Fort Liberty and the Fayetteville, North Carolina community.
