U.S. Marines with 12th Marine Corps District, Western Recruiting Region, participate in the company motivational run for Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion as a part of Spiritual Fitness Month at MCRD San Diego, California, Nov. 25, 2024. Spiritual Fitness Month is a program implemented to bring awareness to spiritual health. MCRD San Diego is the first Marine Corps Base to implement this program. The company motivational run is a three-mile cadence run conducted around the Depot, the last physical training event the Marines will conduct before they graduate from MCRD San Diego and the first time their friends and families will see their newly transformed U.S. Marines.
