U.S. Marines with 1st Marine Logistics Group participate in the traditional ceremony ‘Old Glory’ on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Nov. 11, 2024. The ceremony was held in honor of Master Gunnery Sgt. Chelsea Jones, a native of Texas and a logistics chief with Headquarters and Service Battalion, 1st MLG, who honorably served in the Marine Corps for 30 years The ceremony ‘Old Glory’, conducted during retirement ceremonies of United States service members, involves the passing of the U.S. flag through the various ranks the retiree has once been.
