U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. James F. Glynn, commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, operates an Amphibious Combat Vehicle simulator while touring the command post for 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 1st Marine Division, at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Dec. 4, 2024. MARFORPAC leaders visited various units across I Marine Expeditionary Force to gain a better appreciation of opportunities and challenges commands face. During his visit with 3rd AA Bn., Glynn talked to Marines about training being conducted by the battalion to ensure Marines are able to safely operate, maintain, and employ the ACV.
