On Nov. 17, 2024, Fort Meade hosted a wreath ceremony honoring the German and Italian Prisoners of War laid to rest at the Fort Meade Post Cemetery. Hosted by Garrison Commander Col. Yolanda Gore and Command Sgt. Maj. Richard Moore, service members from the German and Italian Embassies laid wreaths to honor our partnerships and our commitment to freedom around the world.
