On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, Fort Meade hosted the inaugural Strengthening Our Communities event. This event offered a networking and information sharing opportunity for professionals who support service members, veterans and military families. Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families Communications, Outreach and Advocacy Program Director Lindsay Livingston moderated a fireside chat with Fort George G. Meade Command Sgt. Maj. Richard Moore and Maryland Secretary of Veterans and Military Families Anthony Woods. After the fireside chat, attendees broke into solution groups based on their fields to share resources and information.
