Jessie Higa, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam volunteer historian, shares the movements of Lieutenants Kenneth Taylor and George Welch, 47th Pursuit Squadron pilots, on the day Pearl Harbor was attacked to pilots of the now 47th Fighter Squadron while on a tour at the base in Oahu, July 27, 2024. During the tour, Higa showed the pilots where Welch and Taylor slept, the location of the bomb strikes, and shared her feelings on the sacrifices made during that fateful day.
