Wilson Marks, commander, Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) and Capt. Steven McDowell, director, Surface Advanced Warfighting School (SAWS) participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony marking the establishment of the new SAWS schoolhouse. SAWS, a division of Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center, increases the lethality and tactical proficiency of the Surface Force across all domains.
