POINT MUGU, Calif. (Dec. 06, 2024) Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) supported logistic movement of The Honorable Lloyd J. Austin III, Secretary of Defense (SECDEF), Adm. Lisa Franchetti, Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), and other senior military leadership as they attended the 2024 Reagan National Defense Forum (RNDF), Dec. 6-7, 2024. NBVC is a strategically located Naval installation composed of three operating facilities: Point Mugu, Port Hueneme and San Nicolas Island. NBVC is the home of the Pacific Seabees, West Coast E-2D Hawkeyes, 3 warfare centers and 110 tenants. (U.S. Navy photo by Master-at-Arms 1st Class Jon Cason)
