The event, often considered as an “unofficial” kick-off to the holiday season was attended by Capt. John Randazzo, base commander, Vittorio Lettieri, Mayor of Gricignano, children from a foster home in the nearby town of Trentola Ducenta and over 2,000 service members and families from various commands including NATO. NSA Naples is an operational ashore base that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where they are needed, when they are needed to ensure and stability in the European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility.
