Governor Mark Gordon, First Lady Jennie Gordon, Major General Greg Porter, Wyoming Adjutant General, Veterans Commission Executive Director Tim Sheppard, Veterans Commission Chairman Jake Jacobs, and Veterans Commission Executive Assistant Shane Whitworth, traveled across Wyoming to welcome home veterans on March 25, 2023. The annual Wyoming Veterans Welcome Home Day ceremonies occurred in Hulett and Saratoga, honoring veterans from the Korean War, Vietnam War, and other conflicts who were not properly thanked upon their return home.
