U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Jarrett Johnson, a helicopter crew chief with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 464, Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, familiarizes Marines enrolled in an Expeditionary Operations Training Group (EOTG) tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel course with a CH-53 Sea Stallion at Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina, Dec. 5, 2024. EOTG trains deploying II MEF Marine Expeditionary Units and other designated forces in select special individual and collective tasks, and evaluates their ability to conduct assigned mission essential tasks in order to prepare those forces to support the global combatant commanders.
