A Coast Guard Cutter Alert (WMEC 630) small boat crew transfers migrants to Coast Guard Cutter Margaret Norvell (WPC 1105), Nov. 24, 2024, while underway in the Florida Straits. Alert conducted a 60-day, maritime safety and security patrol in the Florida Straits; the deployment marked its first since the cutter shifted home ports from Astoria, Oregon to Cape Canaveral, Florida in June of this year.
