Jedidiah Nohre, ballistic missile watch officer from U.S. 7th Fleet, discusses tracking a surrogate air-launched Medium Range Ballistic Missile with the AN/TPY-6 radar with Capt. William Steers, air battle manager from 623rd Air Control Squadron at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, during U.S. Indo-Pacific Command’s capabilities exercise Sling Stone Dec. 10, 2024. Sling Stone leveraged the Missile Defense Agency’s Flight Experiment Mission-02 (FEM-02) to validate the Guam Defense System concept of operations.
