NORFOLK, VA (October 17,2024) Vice Adm. John Gumbleton, commander, Task Force 80 and deputy commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFFC), congratulates Logistics Specialist Seaman Apprentice Ashanti Williams on her recents efforts on the mess decks of USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) during a fleet visit December 12, 2024. Gumbleton spoke about warfighting readiness and quality of service. USFFC is responsible for manning, training, equipping, and providing combat-ready forces forward to numbered fleets and combatant commanders around the globe.
