Sematoske, U.S. 7th Fleet Bandmaster, conducts a joint ensemble of U.S. 7th Fleet Band and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Yokosuka Band members at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan's Benny Decker Theater before the team's joint concert, Together For The Holidays, Sunday, December 15, 2024. Sematoske commissioned as a bandmaster in 2019 and has spent time in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy as an enlisted musician in addition to performances with the several symphony orchestras in more than two dozen countries.(U.S. Navy photo by James Kimber)
