Ms. Diana Evans, assessor, TBI Center of Excellence, and U.S. Army Spc. Amanda Pinkston, participant, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR)-West, take part in the survey and timed response portion of a study on brain health and PTSD at the Intrepid Spirit Center, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, September 30, 2024. The study, which is a collaboration between WRAIR-West and the University of Pittsburgh’s Concussion Research Lab, aims to understand occupation-related chronic repeated head injury (RHI) exposure and brain health, as well as to identify prognostic biological and clinical markers of chronic repetitive mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and military occupational specialty (MOS)-related RHI exposure.
