Project Convergence Capstone constantly and consistently pushes technological boundaries, and the upcoming Project Convergence Capstone 5 (PC-C5) is no exception. Last week, during the PC-C5 rehearsal of concept drill, senior leaders, including Lt. Gen. David Hodne, Futures and Concepts Center director, took part in a demonstration of a new technology that will increase senior leaders' understanding of battlefield space through technology by using augmented reality devices that show a 3D sand table. These devices provide commanders with a live, constructed, and simulated 3D battlefield, showing the modern battlefield complexity and allowing commanders to make better decisions faster than ever before.
