U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Friends and families of the U.S. Air Force Academy participated in the annual wreath laying at the Academy cemetery, Dec. 14, 2024. The event is part of a nation-wide initiative sponsored by Wreaths Across America to recognize service to the nation by military veterans, many of whom were killed in combat. Ms. Eula Harmon Hoff, daughter of the Academy’s first superintendent, participated in the event by placing the first of more than 1500 wreaths at her father’s gravesite.
