U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Jamison Black engages targets with an M18 pistol during the Marine Corps Marksmanship Competition Far East at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 17, 2024. MCMC Far East is one of five regional competitions and is held for Marines stationed in Okinawa. Competitors are tested on their combat marksmanship skills outside of annual weapons qualification ranges and the top ten percent of participants are invited to compete in the Marine Corps Marksmanship Match held annually in Quantico, Virginia.
