Army National Guard Aviation Command provide orientation flights for District partners at Davison Army Airfield, Fort Belvoir, Va., on December 19, 2024. Maj. Gen. John Andonie, Commanding General (interim), D.C. National Guard was accompanied by Lindsey Appiah, Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice; Kevin Donahue, City Administrator for D.C. Government; Anthony Crispino, Deputy Director of the Department of Public Works, and Marcus Hunt, Director of D.C. Govt. Operations-DCNG. In addition to a capabilities and safety brief, District leaders learned more about DCARNG assets and the integral role that interagency partnerships play in ensuring residents' safety and security.
