A University of Florida football player participates in a skills demonstration with a military working dog (MWD), assigned to the 6th Security Forces Squadron during a Gasparilla Bowl event at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, Dec. 18, 2024. Players and staff members on the University of Florida and Tulane University football teams visited the base where they received an interactive tour featuring exhibits, demonstrations, and static displays from MacDill’s units and mission partners, to include explosive ordnance disposal, military working dogs, the Joint Communications Support Element, U.S. Special Operations Command and more.
