U.S. Marines with Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic, Marine Forces Command, Marine Forces Northern Command, sell baked goods to MARFORCOM Marines and civilian Marines at Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads Dec 11, 2024. The purpose of the bake sale was to raise money for MARFORCOM’s 2025 Marine Corps Birthday Ball and to celebrate the Marine Corps’ 250th birthday. Founded on November 10, 1775, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Marines have fought from the shores of Tripoli to the valleys of Afghanistan – always the most-ready when the nation was least ready.
