US Air National Guard Staff Sgt. Sarah Hudson is an aircraft ground equipment specialist in the Air National Guard at the 163d Attack Wing on March Air Reserve Base and a Helitack Squad Leader for the US Forest Service in San Bernardino, California. As a reservist, Hudson embodies the versatility of Citizen-Airmen, seamlessly transitioning between her military duties and her civilian career to serve both her community and her country. This image was taken while Hudson was assigned to the Line Fire. The Line Fire was a large active wildfire in San Bernardino County, Southern California. The fire began on September 5, 6:33 PM near the community of Highland and spread into the San Bernardino National Forest. The fire forced the evacuation of multiple communities.
