Norwegian forces from Task Force Viking, secure a simulated casualty into a medical evacuation vehicle during a joint cold load training exercise with U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to 3rd Battalion, 6th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Brigade, 10th Mountain Division on Al Asad Air Base, Dec. 11, 2024. This exercise prepares Coalition partners for medical evacuation procedures, ensuring seamless coordination during emergencies and improving readiness by practicing casualty evacuation in extreme conditions.
