Col. Joel Tyler, commander, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, and Command Sgt. Maj. Edison Rebuck, senior enlisted leader, unfurl the Raider Brigade Colors, assuming the brigade’s mission at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, March 4, 2013. Tyler expressed eagerness to continue 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team’s tradition of excellence in the coming months. “This mission has been a long time coming for the Raiders and we are excited to be here,” he said. “For a professional soldier, the opportunity to practice our trade with such a diverse group partners is a once in a lifetime experience. We intend to take full of advantage of it.”
