A Soldier carries a tree selected during the Trees for Troops event held Dec. 13, 2024, at Fort Leonard Wood's Automotive Skills Center. Fort Leonard Wood was one of more than 90 military installations receiving trees this holiday season as part of the Trees for Troops program. The program has provided more than 300,000 live Christmas trees to service members and their families since the program’s launch in 2005.
