Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 15, wait in line outside of the mess hall to receive dinner rations during the battalion's Final Exercise Problem (FEP). FEP is a series of graded scenarios used to measure a battalion's preparedness for deployment. NMCB 15 is currently mobilized in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and is an expeditionary element of U.S. Naval Forces that act as combat engineers and support various units worldwide through national force readiness, humanitarian assistance, and building and maintaining infrastructure.
