U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jacob Brown, a motor vehicle operator with 2nd Medical Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, and native of Salisbury, Maryland, poses for a photo on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Jan. 7, 2024. Brown’s command selected him as Warrior of the Week for his exemplary performance during 2nd Medical Battalion’s certification exercise and daily motor transportation operations, training 50 motor vehicle operators on proper loading procedures and safe driving practices. When asked what advice he would give to his younger self, Brown said, “Stay motivated, as long as you dedicate yourself to your work, everything will work out.” Each week, 2nd MLG recognizes one outstanding Marine or Sailor that goes above and beyond in their duties and embodies the qualities of an outstanding service member.
