250109-N-VD554-1460 SAN DIEGO (Jan. 8, 2025) – MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopters assigned to the "Merlins" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 3 conduct “Bambi Bucket" training in preparation to support firefighting efforts in Los Angeles County. HSC-3 is a Fleet Replacement Squadron that provides training for Naval Aviators and Naval Aircrewmen in the MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, including aerial firefighting techniques in challenging and hazardous environments.
