The Puerto Rico National Guard (PRNG) celebrated its traditional New Year's Reception and Protocol Greeting led by the Adjutant General of Puerto Rico, Major General Miguel A. Méndez. The event was held at the old PRNG Headquarters in San Juan. It was attended by senior officers of the organization and senior officers of the United States Army Reserve. The Secretary of State Veronica Ferraiuoli Hornedo Departamento de Estado participated in the ceremony representing Governor Jenniffer González Colón.
