A humvee belonging to 40th Military Police Company, California Army National Guard, is filled with food and beverages that were given by local residents at a traffic control point in Los Angeles County, Calif., Jan. 12, 2025. Soldiers at several traffic control points said that they often had local residents give them more than enough food and beverages as they maintained traffic control points throughout the day and night.
