U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Austin Pacek with 2nd Dental Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, and a native of Sarasota, Florida, poses for a photo on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Jan. 13, 2025. According to his leaders, Pacek was selected as Warrior of the Week for the vital role he played in the completion of processing and routing unit correspondence and battalion orders, along with taking on additional duties as a command urinalysis program coordinator, battalion mail clerk, and training to become a Marine Corps martial arts instructor. When asked how he approaches all of his challenges and responsibilities Pacek said, “I learn as much as I can as fast as possible so I can be the best at what I do.” Each week, 2nd MLG recognizes one outstanding Marine or Sailor that goes above and beyond in their duties and embodies the qualities of an outstanding service member.
