At the end of November, the 668th Alteration and Installation Squadron (ALIS) engaged in an annual training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The training provided ALIS members with the opportunity to gather in one location and spend time developing critical skills necessary to being mission ready Airmen.
The overall mission of the 668 ALIS is to deploy, train, and maintain specialized forces for the global implementation of communications infrastructure and sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) construction, supporting national operations.
During the multi-disciplinary training, Airmen had the chance to tune-up skills they don't often utilize in their day-to-day operations, like donning MOPP 4 alongside CBRN specialists and navigating EOH lanes alongside the 902 CES. Airmen also practiced cable splicing, securely packing and shipping materials, operating a forklift, and other basic CE skills.
