(left) Christopher Gleason, lab manager, Civil-Military Innovation Institute, Department of Defense contractor, showcases a project of the Army Central Innovation and Manufacturing Lab to (middle) Master Sgt. Nicholas Reasons, surgeon non-commissioned officer in charge, 1st Theater Sustainment Command and (right) Col. Jonathan Michael Strobel, command surgeon, 1st TSC, during a walkthrough of the AIM-C, in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, December 18, 2024.
Col. Strobel holds two heavy expanded mobility tactical truck wrecker brackets, the original damaged bracket is cast aluminum, and the reproduced bracket is milled aluminum. The reproduced milled aluminum bracket, designed and crafted at the AIM-C, serves as a stop-gap measure to return military vehicles quickly to theater during the long lead time of replacement parts.
