Representatives from U.S. Coast Guard Forces Micronesia/Sector Guam, Guam Fire Department, Guam Police Department, Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron-25, Joint Region Marianas dispatch, and Naval Hospital Guam’s emergency medicine department participated in the first quarterly SAR professionals meeting of 2025 to review historical case data from fiscal years 2023 and 2024 and discussed recent complex cases to identify lessons learned and improve future coordination. The group also highlighted the critical SAR objectives of minimizing loss of life, reducing crew risk, and optimizing resources during missions.
