Mariano Franchi, 96th Bomb Squadron B-52H Stratofortress pilot, prepares to let football players with Louisiana Tech University observe the inside of a B-52H Stratofortress at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Dec. 26, 2024. The players visited Barksdale days before playing against the Army in the Independence Bowl and learned about different units such as 2nd Security Forces Squadron, 307th Civil Engineer Squadron, 2nd Civil Engineer Squadron, 2nd Operations Support Squadron and 96th Bomb Squadron.
