Charleston residents experience their first snowfall in seven years as a rare winter storm blankets the city on January 22, 2024. The storm, which began on January 21 and continued into the early morning hours of January 22, brought four inches of snow to downtown Charleston. The Lowcountry's last snowstorm was in January 2018, when five inches of snow fell across the region.
