Haley Carter, former Marine and current sporting director, and vice president of soccer operations for Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League, reflects on her service as a Marine and soccer ambassador during the United Soccer Coaches Convention in Chicago on January 11, 2025. Carter was featured in the Marine Corps’ Winning Battles for Self, Country and Community brochure, which she discovered during the Coaches of Women’s Soccer Breakfast. The Marine Corps partners with the United Soccer Coaches organization which presents the Marine Corps with the opportunity to develop new relationships with coaches to build trust and create a larger pool of advocates.
