Members of the 151st Regional Support Group (RSG), Massachusetts Army National Guard receive the DCNG Commanding General’s Outstanding Unit Award for exceptional performance, outstanding dedication, teamwork, and operational excellence as Task Force JRSOI (Joint Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, and Integration) during the 60th Presidential Inauguration, at the D.C. Armory, Jan. 23. At the request of civil authorities, approximately 8,000 National Guard service members from approximately 40 states and territories provided critical support such as crowd management, traffic control points, CBRN response, civil disturbance response and sustainment operations. Their expertise and seamless collaboration with interagency partners helped ensure a safe and peaceful transition of power during this historic event. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt.
