Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Brandon Berry, assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 1, grinds through steel in the engine room compartment in preparation for removal of machinery from the Avenger-class mine countermeasures ship Ex-Guardian (MCM 5), which ran aground on the Tubbataha Reef on Jan. 17.
