A KC-130J Super Hercules aircraft with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 152, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing flies over Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California, Jan. 23, 2025. On this day, the Marine detachment held assault landing zone training to improve their ability to land a KC-130J Super Hercules aircraft on short, or expeditionary, runways. VMGR-152 traveled from Japan to Arizona for more diverse training opportunities in the Western United States.
