CAMP SHIELDS, Okinawa– (Jan. 28th, 2025) Construction Mechanic 3rd Class Joaquin Reyes Jr., assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 inspects Civil Engineer Support Equipment (CESE) for embarkation during a Mount-Out Exercise (MOX). The exercise tests the battalion’s ability to rapidly mobilize and deploy in response to real-world contingencies. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, providing advanced construction and expeditionary capabilities in the Indo-Pacific region.
