U.S. Army soldiers from Able Battery, 3rd Battalion, 321st Field Artillery Regiment, 18th Field Artillery Brigade, assigned to Able Battery, 3rd Battalion, 321st Field Artillery Regiment, 18th Field Artillery Brigade, fire rockets from High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) as part of the semiannual validation required for Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS/HIMARS) crewmembers (13M) near Camp Tapa, Jan. 27, 2025. HIMARS have a proven range of up to 186 miles (300 km) with a variety of advancement that can extend beyond 310 miles (499 km). Task Force Pegasus emphasizes the importance of engaging with local communities across Europe to strengthen bonds and reassure NATO allies of continued partnership and cooperation.
