A U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules aircraft with the 374th Airlift Wing takes off from Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Jan. 29, 2025. With the assistance from the Air Force, U.S. Marines with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 121, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 12, MAG-12, 1st MAW transported gear and personnel to Guam. VMFA-121 trained in Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands to improve their distributed aviation capabilities and tactics with joint forces, partners, and allies.
