    U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Embassy leadership were given the opportunity to tour the Tanegashima Space Center prior to the launch of the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System-Hosted Payload in Tanegashima, Japan, Feb. 2, 2024. The QZSS is Japan’s domestically engineered and manufactured Position, Navigation and Timing space system, designed for users in Japan and currently augmenting the U.S.-built Global Positioning System.
