U.S. Marines with 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing prepare an AMS Recovery Transporter assigned to Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd MAW, in to transport an MV-22B Osprey husk during an aircraft recovery demonstration at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California, Dec. 18, 2024. Marines from across 3rd MAW congregated on the installation to conduct Aircraft Salvage Recovery, a uniformed training event which trains Marines in proper aircraft recovery tactics through various demonstrations.
